The Panhandlers have had the great privilege to work with the top performers,
arrangers, and composers in the steel drum community. Throughout the years,
they have performed with Robert Greenidge, Andy Narell, Ray Holman, Tom Miller, Len "Boogsie"
Sharpe, Liam Teague and Jeff Narell.

 |
Robert Greenidge graced the College of San Mateo Theater Stage in early December 2005 with his virtuoso solo and ensemble playing . The Panhandlers performed Robbie’s compositions “ Paradise Garden ”, “From The Heart” and the classic Desperadoes Panorama piece “Musical Volcanoe” It was an honor to play Robbies music with the master at the helm. |
 |
Andy Narell has been a frequent guest on stage
with the Panhandlers, appearing as a soloist, with his quintet, and
in a rare concert with his brother Jeff. Andy has become a great friend
of the band, and the Panhandlers have added many of his compositions
to their repertoire. |
 |
World class pan arranger and composer, Ray Holman,
has made several appearances with the group. Ray is one of the top
arrangers in Trinidad, and the Panhandlers have performed several
of his Panorama classics including Steelband Paradise, Pan Woman,
and My Band. It is a rare treat for an American steel band to be coached
by an artist of Ray's stature. |
 |
Tom Miller has generously shared many of his arrangements
and original compositions with the Panhandlers, in addition to performing
with them on numerous occasions. His expertise in steel band arranging
makes Tom one of the most sought after clinicians in the US today.
Tom's production and mixing talents have been extremely invaluable
in the making of the CDs. |
 |
Liam Teague graced the Panhandlers stage in 2002
with his "hands like lightening" speed. The skill of this
virtuoso pannist was broadcast to the audience via a "pan cam"
and a giant video screen. |
 |
David Rudder, legendary calypsonian from Trinidad,
has performed with the Panhandlers on two occasions in recent years.
These performances were an incredible display of song, celebration,
and pan excellence, with Andy Narell, Ray Holman, and Pan Ramajay
featured as special guests. |
 |
In May of '96, the band was honored to have Len "Boogsie"
Sharpe share his amazing stick speed and creativity. In a
rare concert event, a crowd of more than 900 people saw the biggest
names in pan on this memorable night, when Boogsie, Ray Holman, Andy
Narell, and Pan Ramajay took the stage. |
